Malcolm James McCormick, Pittsburg born rapper and producer passed away September 7, 2018 at the age of 26. He was know to many by his stage name Mac Miller. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner McCormick died from mixed drug toxicity (fentanyl, cocaine and ethanol). The manner of death was certified as an accident.
Mac Miller's 2018 fifth studio album Swimming was posthumously nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
According to the pop Chateratti Miller and singer Ariana Grande dated for almost 2 years. In Grande'S hit song Thank u, next she drops the lyric "Wish i could say thank you to malcolm
