Roger Winck, 79, of Greenwich, OH, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2019. Roger will be forever remembered by his surviving family, children Debbie, Michael (June) and Stephen, sisters Peggy, Joanne and Linda and brother Alan. Roger had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born October 12th, 1939, in Wakeman, OH, Roger lived in Greenwich until joining the Air Force right after High School. Roger was based in Bangor, ME and also spent time in Japan. He loved working on aircraft, and his interest continued throughout his life when he started building and flying model airplanes. Roger met his late wife Elaine Winck (Paradis) during his time in Maine, and after leaving the Air Force in 1962, they returned back home to Ohio where he held various positions in engineering and mechanical design. He continued his education in electrical/electronic repair and opened his own TV repair business. Roger also had a lawnmower repair business and was an avid ham radio operator. There wasn't a thing he couldn't fix, and family and friends would often consult with him on their own projects and repairs. Roger also loved music and taught himself guitar and trumpet.
There will be a private family ceremony held in his honor.
