Celebrating Bob's Life

Robert M. Johnson of Flower Mound and more recently Keller, Texas passed away peacefully, August twenty-ninth at eighty nine years of age. There are a reported 35,800 people in the U.S. named Robert Johnson but none had more love for life than our Bob.

The son of a car salesman (Robert) and housewife (Olive), Bob was born in Akron Ohio in 1929. After High school he volunteered for service in the U.S. Army and served as an X-ray technician in Alaska. Bob’s forty-plus year career as an insurance claims manager and consultant took him from Ohio to Kentucky and eventually Texas. His love for this work centered on his authentic desire and ability to care for others which proved central to his success as well as the respect accorded him by clients and colleagues.

Undoubtedly, Bob’s greatest love was for his wife and partner Nancy. Throughout their life together they traveled and hosted innumerable dinners and card-playing gatherings in their Flower Mound home.

Bob is survived by his wife Nancy, three children Beverly Coffman, Jeff Johnson, Robin Greene, Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A military, Honor Guard Ceremony will be held for Bob on September 18th at 11:30 A.M. at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, 75211.
