Obituary

Patsy Rose Avila

Patsy Rose Avila, Passed away peacefully on Monday February 05, 2018, at home surrounded by loved ones in San Antonio, Tx. It's hard to say goodbye. We had spent more time together. We wish things could have been different for her and us. While we know that she is at peace and that her struggles are at an end, there is pain and sadness. Even though she is gone, she has left the legacy of her love and perseverance. She was such an amazing force her light shone brighter than the sun. The world is much emptier without her in it. Those left behind are so much better people because she was part of us. The ways she touched our lives will remain.

One of Patsy's life's essential things was family, and she took great pride in her role as mother and grandmother she drew her strength and left her legacy. Being with her family was what Patsy enjoyed most of all.
The love she showed will live on and be with us even now that she has gone to be with God.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 50 years Armando Avila, sons Alex and Mark Avila, daughters Genevieve Avila, Mandy Jones, her seven grandchildren, three great children, brothers Patrick and Charlie Felan. Patsy was preceded in death by parents Patrick Nora Felan and brother John Felan
