Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce
The passing of Miles (Mike) MacNeil (Gordon Tobin)
Oct.7th, 2019 at 1:12 pm, at the All Saints Hospital, Springhill, Nova Scotia.With family and friends at his side.
He is the son of the late Fred Tobin and the late Mildren (McNeil).And adopted parents the late John A. MacNeil and the late Rachel (Keylor).
He served in the Canadian Armed serves. He enjoyed working in the woods, at a Fish Hatchery, Star Insulators building machines . He was also a volunteer firefighter for awhile.He loved the great outdoors and spent most Of his time out by the river.
He leaves behind his wife Margaret (King). Son Grant (Christine) Springhill, Daughters Sandra, Amherst,Dawn (Ashley) ,Willamsdale,and step-daughter Monica King (John) Amherst. 10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 1 step great-granddaughter.He will be greatly missed by his furry friends dog Sassy and cat Jack.
He also leaves behind his sisters and brothers; Elaine(Maynard), Fred (Sheila), Lillian (Bob), Richard (Anita)Murray,Patricia, Valerie, Agnes (Paul) and Phonse (Linda).
He was predeceased by his sisters Millie, Staisa and Gloria Ann,brothers Dave and Vince.And step-grandson Morgan.
His body has been donated to Dalhousie University Medical Science.
Celebration of life already took place at 849 Wyvern Road, Collingwood. Burial to take place at a later date.
